Mrs. Edith Dove, Former Resident Of Ames, Is Dead

Word was received here Friday of the death of Mrs. Edith Dove, 55, former Ames resident, who
died Tuesday at the home of her son, Dr. Franklin Dove, at Orona, Me., where she had made her home for the past few years.

Mrs. Dove lived in Ames for 15 years, and was an active worker in the Collegiate Methodist, church. She formerly lived on Welch avenue.

Surviving Mrs. Dove are one daughter, Mrs. R. E. Tanner, Cedar Rapids; and two sons, Dr. Franklin and Dr. L. F. Dove, Marion. A sister and a brother also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday at Cedar Rapids. Burial will be in the Mt. Vernon cemetery.
