CAMBRIDGE MAN FREEZES TO DEATH
Special to the Tribune-Times.
CAMBRIDGE — Amos Heggen, 71 years old, was found frozen to death early Wednesday afternoon, a few feet from the back door of the two-room house where he lived alone.
Heggen was reported last seen about 8 a. m. Wednesday and it was believed that he died while attempting to get into his house.
He had removed his overcoat and jacket. The body was found by a brother, Tom Heggen, who started a search when Amos failed to appear at the home of another brother, H. H. Heggen, for Christmas dinner.
The body was taken to Maxwell, where cause of death was to be determined when the body thawed.
