NELS DONHOWE DIES AT STORY CITY MON.

STORY CITY (UP) - Nels Donhowe, 59, lifelong resident of this community died Monday evening at 11:30 at the home of his daughter Mrs. Jasper Dale. Death was caused by a stroke suffered Sunday.

Mr. Donhowe had been in poor health for six years.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the St. Petri Lutheran church with the Rev. W. B. Scarvie in charge. Burial will be in the Story City cemetery.

Surviving are the wife, two daughters, Mrs. Jasper Dale of Story City and Miss Bernett Donhowe of Belle Plaine, three sons, Lawrence of Randall, Richard of Jewell and Howard of Dubuque. Also two brothers Peter of Story City and John of Eagle Grove, and one sister, Mrs. Sam Johnson of Story City.
