Michele J. Kenne, 57, a mother and wife who loved and was loved passed away early Monday, Oct. 13, 2008 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, Minnesota.

Michele J. Schoofs was born Jan, 23, 1951 in Ft. Dodge, Iowa to Joseph and Barbara (Wilson) Schoofs. She married Kerry R. Kenne on Dec, 15, 1972 in Ft. Devens, Massachusetts. She loved her log cabin home on the lake in the north woods where she could watch the birds and the seasons fly by. A born fisherman; she could sit on the dock for hours in the evening with no fish biting; just enjoying God's church in the wild. It was her heaven on earth. She enhanced the lives around her with gourmet cooking, knitted blankets, and lively card games.

She is survived by her husband Kerry R. Kenne, Becida, Minnesota, a daughter, Tanya (Jeffrey) Reiman, St. Charles, Minnesota, and a son Anthony (Sarah) Kenne, Port Orchard, Washington, and four grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers; Christopher (Sharon) Schoofs, Montreal, Canada, Nick (Charlie) Schoofs, Oceanside, California, and three sisters; Lee (Doug) Zaletel, North Liberty, Iowa, Suzy Schoofs, Des Moines, Iowa and Barb (Dave) Barrow, Altoona, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

A Memorial Service was planned for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes Chapel, Rochester, Minnesota with a visitation one hour before the service at the funeral home. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
