Mother of Ames Woman Dies at Home in Des M.

Mrs. M. J. Kelleher, 87, mother of Mrs. John Powers jr., 1214 Second street, died at 4 a. m. Friday at her home in Des Moines. She had been in poor health for some time.

Mrs. Kelleher had been a resident of Des Moines for more than 50 years. Her husband died about two years ago. A grandson, Richard Kelleher is employed in Ames.

Funeral arrangements had not been completed Friday.

Mrs. Kelleher Will Be Buried Monday

Funeral services for Mrs. M. J. Kelleher, 87, who died at her home in Des Moines Friday morning will be held Monday at 9 a. m. from the Visitation Roman Catholic church in Des Moines. The body is lying in state at the White-O'meara funeral home.

Mrs. Kelleher was the mother of Mrs. John Powers, jr., of Ames.
