Edward Moon Dies Friday Morning at Daughter's Home

Edward Moon, 80, died early Friday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E. R. Fritsch, 918 Burnett avenue, where he had made his home for the past five months. He had been bedfast for the past four weeks following a paralytic stroke.

Mr. Moon was born Jan. 20, 1855 near Toronto, Canada. His wife died two years ago at the family home in Fenton, Mich. Surviving members of the family are daughters, Mrs. Fritsch, Mrs. W. F. Stanton, Lake Geneva, Wis.; Bess H. Moone, Evanston, Ill.; sons, Fred R., Highland Park
Ill., J. Herbert, Evanston, Ill., and
Murray G., Gwinn, Mich.

Brief private services will be held from the Adams chapel, with the Rev. Walter A. Morgan, of the First Methodist church, in charge. Funeral services will be held at Elmhurst, Ill. Final arrangements regarding dates of the services were not complete Friday afternoon.
