THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Friday, October 3, 2008.

Everett R. Van Cleave, 87, of Omaha, Neb., died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, at Korisko Larkin Staskiewicz Funeral Home in Omaha. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at Wakefield Memorial Cemetery in Wakefield, Neb.

Everett had lived and worked in Story City and Ames.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Nedved; four children, Terry (Ann) Van Cleave, of Marshalltown, Judy (Al) Anderson, of Cottonwood, Minn., Sandi (Ron) Vepestad, of Slater, and Carol (Randy) Sharpnack, of Wakefield, Neb.; four stepchildren, Larry (Sue) Nedved, Gary (Chris) Nedved, Darlene (John) Steindl, and Denis Nedved (Sharon Presley);

15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Robert (Becky) Van Cleave.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Jane, and one sister, Flora Gladman.
