Pneumonia Claims Aged Colo Man at Story County Home

R. A. Beardsley, 69, died Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Story county farm, four miles northeast of Ames. Mr. Beardsley became ill with pneumonia on Thursday, April 3.

Mr. Beardsley, who was born in New York state, came to Colo from Cedar Rapids where he was employed as a freight agent. He was tower signalman at Colo for seven years.

Mrs. Beardsley died at Colo on June 11, 1929, and Mr. Beardsley was taken to the county farm in December, 1929.

He is survived by a son in Philadelphia and a sister who resides in New York state. No funeral arrangements have been made.
