THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Sunday, September 7, 2008.

Kelly Lynn Anderson, 46, of Zearing, died on Friday, Sept. 5, at Israel Family Hospice House, Ames. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, at Chet Ryan Mortuary, 708 Fifth St., Nevada, with Pastor David R. Burling officiating. Burial of the cremains will follow in Lincoln Township Cemetery, Zearing.

Kelly was born Feb. 5, 1962, in Marshalltown, to Dwain Roger and Pauline M. (Cibula) Kirk. She was a 1980 graduate of Colo-Nesco High School. On April 11, 1987, she married Michael Anderson in Nevada. She was employed at Donnelley Marketing, Nevada, and AgLeader, Ames. Sheenjoyed crafts, painting, and flower gardening. Her passion was her animals.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Anderson; her son, Brian Michael Anderson; her mother, Pauline Kirk, all of Zearing; three stepchildren, Crystal Dobson and Justin Anderson, both of Nevada, and Amy Boal, of Cambridge; four grandchildren; and one sister, Kim (David) Roberts, Zearing.

Kelly was preceded in death by her father, Roger on Sept. 11, 1994.

Memorials may be given in Kelly's name to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, 5452 NE 22nd St., Des Moines.

Chet Ryan Mortuary and Cremation Services has been entrusted with Kelly and her family.
