MRS. A. L. POTTER DIES EARLY TUES. MORNING

Mrs. A. L. Potter, 68, died at her home at 702 Clark avenue at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday morning following a six months' illness with cancer.

Funeral services will be held at the Congregational church here at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Burial win be in the Ames cemetery.

Mrs. Potter came to Ames from Keosauqua about 20 years ago. Her husband, a former hardware dealer in Ames, died about 16 years ago.

Surviving relatives include a son, H. B. Manning of Ames; her mother, Mrs. M. Austin of Ames and Colorado; a brother, William Kirby of Manitou, Colo.; and two step-daughters, Mrs. Jennings Bauge of Ames, and Mrs. Karl Ogden of Minneapolis.

FUNERAL HELD THURS. FOR MRS. A. L. POTTER

A large crowd of friends and relatives filled the Congregational church here Thursday afternoon for the last rites for Mrs. A. L. Potter, 66, 702 Clark avenue, Ames.

The Rev. H. K. Hawley conducted the services. Burial was in the Ames cemetery. Pall bearers were Milo Manning, Harry Brown, H. W. Stafford, E. H. Graves, George Judisch, and L. C. Tilden.

Mrs. Potter lived in Ames for about 20 years. She came here from Keosauqua. Her mother, Mrs. M. Austin of Ames and Colorado, and son, H. B. Manning of Ames, survive.

Mrs. Potter died Tuesday morning at her home here following a six-months illness with, cancer.
