Former Ames Man Dies in Boone of Effects of Stroke

Le Roy Hill. 74 years old, a former resident of Ames, died Friday night at the Boone county farm, where he had lived for a number of years. He had been suffering for some time from the effects of a stroke of paralysis.

Funeral services will be held Monday in Boone at 1:30 p. m. at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Frank Bechtel, and at 2 p. m. at the North Marion Street Methodist church.

Mr. Hill left Ames about 13 years ago. He has a number of relatives living in Ames. A son, Hadley Hill, lives north of Boone.
