MRS. I. B. THOMAS DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS

Mrs. I. B. Thomas, 64 years old, a resident of Ames nearly all her life, died at 2:30 this morning at her home, 327 Stanton avenue. She had been ill with cancer for about two years.

Funeral services Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at the Adams chapel will be conducted by the Rev. Walter Barlow of the Collegiate Presbyterian church. Burial will be in the Ames cemetery.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by her husband, two sons, Ralph at home, R. M. Thomas of Ottumwa, and one daughter, Mrs. J. R. Miller of Ames.

MRS. I. B. THOMAS FUNERAL SUNDAY

Approximately relatives and friends attended the final rites for Mrs. I. B. Thomas, 64. lifetime resident of Ames, held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Adams chapel.

The services were conducted by their Rev. Walter Barlow of the Collegiate Presbyterian church and burial was in the Ames cemetery.

Pall bearers were: A. L. Champlin, Dave Edwards, G. J. Palmer, A. T. Lerdall, W. F. Jeffrey and Allan Gibb.

Many friends from Story City and surrounding communities attended the rites. Mrs. Thomas came to Ames from Story City and had many friends there.

Mrs. Thomas died at 2:30 o'clock Saturday morning from cancer. Her husband, two sons and a daughter survive. They include: Ralph at home, R. M. Thomas of Ottumwa, and Mrs. J. R. Miller of Ames.
