Mrs. G. W. Bissell Dies in California

Word hs been received here of the death of Mrs. George W. Bissell, wife of a former member of the Iowa State college faculty. She died the latter part of December at her home in Monrovia, Cal.

Mr. Bissell was professor of mechanical engineering at the collete from 1890 until 1908, when he resigned to become dean of the engineering department at Michigan State Agricultural college. In the fall of 1929, Mr. and Mrs. Bissell removed to California on account of Mrs. Bissell's health.
