Story City Pioneer Woman Dies Sunday; Funeral Wednesday

STORY CITY, Jan 6, - Mrs. Thor Ericson, 88, died Sunday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. S. S. Wierson, of Story City, just 20 years of the day, after her husband's death. Mrs. Ericson had a cold for sometime but Sunday seemed much better. She was talking to her daughter just before her death and seemed improved.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 o'clock at the Wierson home and at 2 o'clock at the St. Petri Lutheran church at Story City. The Rev. W. B. Scarvie will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Story City cemetery.

Three children survive. They are: Mrs. Wierson of Story City, E. L. Erickson of Story City and Mrs. Helen Hanson of Jewell.

Mrs. Erickson made her home with Mrs. Wierson since the death of her husband.
