Sivert Britson died Tuesday

Severt Britson, 79, died Tuesday morning, January 7, at Mary Greeley Hospital at Ames.

Mr. Britson had been in ill health since suffering a stroke at his home here last July. He was hospitalized for several months, after which he resided at the Pleasantville Nursing Home the past two months. He was admitted to Mary Greeley Hospital at Ames on Monday, and died suddenly Tuesday.

Mr. Britson is survived by two daughters, Cleopha (Mrs. Silas Thompson) of Roland, and Mrs. Leeffia McCurter of Hawthorne, Calif.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 11, at two o'clock from Bergen Lutheran Church in Roland, with Pastor Howard Lybeck officiating. Soderstrum Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
