HERBERT FLOYD ATWOOD Services for Herbert Floyd Atwood who died Friday, Dec. 27,1964, were held at the Collins United Methodist Church Dec. 30 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Harland Gant officiating.

Herbert Floyd Atwood, son of Gene and Dorothy Buck Atwood, was born Nov. 19, 1956, at Marshalltown, Ia. He attended school, kindergarten through third grade at the Maxwell Community School, fourth through 12th at Collins Community School. He played in the high school band and graduated in 1975.

He attended Iowa State University, Ames, Ia., graduating in 1979 with a bachelor of science degree in ag business. He famed after 1979 until 1984.

He is survived by his parents, Gene and Dorothy Atwood: two brothers, Mark Eugene and James David Atwood, and a sister, Diana Jo Oswalt; grandparents, Grainger and Ila Atwood Buck, and five nieces and nephews, Cara, Ross, Jeff Atwood and Kevin and Carmen Oswalt.

Casket bearers were Marvin Hun: trods, Guy Elliott, James Beavers, Douglas Atwood, Dean Buck, Norman Buck. Interment was in Collins Evergreen Cemetery.

Cooper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
