Floyd Atwood Services Friday

COLLINS - Floyd Atwood, 62, of near Collins, a lifelong resident of Jasper County, died Wednesday at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Collins Methodist Church.

The Rev. James Louk, minister of the church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Collins.

Mr. Atwood will lie in state at Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell until 11:30 a.m. Friday when he will be taken to the church.

Survivors are his wife, Ila; two sons, Bill of Collins and Gene of Maxwell; two daughers, Mrs. Carol Head of Madison, N.J., and Mrs. Lind Lein of Cedar Falls; 11 grandchildren and a brother, Lowell Atwood of Collins.
