Former resident of Collins dies

Opal Apker. 94. a farmer Collins resident, died in Seattle, Washington Wednesday morning. Her body will be returned, arriving on Friday evening, and will lie in state in the Cooper
Funeral Home in Maxwell Saturday and Sunday.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a m. at the Collins Methodist with Rev. Wilton Grant officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Collins.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; three grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Nancy Newhard of Des Moines, Mrs. Hazel Milligan of Maxwell, and Mrs. Maude Sager of Collins. Also surviving are two brothers, Lawrence Vasey of Everett, Wash. and RalphVasey of Collins.

She was preceded in death by her parents , one daughter and two brothers
