Milton Edward Anderson, 49, of McCallsburg died of cancer Saturday at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Services will be a 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada, with military graveside services at Nevada Municipal Cemetery.

Mr. Anderson, a former Marshalltown resident, was born in Ames and lived there the past six years. He was a material handler for the National Veterinary Services Laboratory and a member of the American Legion.

Among survivors are his wife, Suzette; three daughters, Lynete Neal, Angela Gallagher and Trish Carber, all of Des Moines; a stepson, Clint Mattingly of Eldora; a stepdaughter, Chantel Mattingly of Marshalltown; two brothers, Ray of Collins and Dave of Huxley; and a grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the mortuary.
