Amil Twedt, 73, Story City, died Thursday, May 18, 1989, of lung disease at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Services were Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Burial was in the Roland Cemetery.
Twedt was born in rural Nevada and moved to Story City in 1981 after retiring from the Nevada Roland Coop. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; three sons, Alan of Altoona, Owen of Johnston, and Dean of Milton, WV; a brother Orlene of Farmington, MN; and four grandchildren.
