Mrs. James S. Hughes died last Thursday at Colorado Springs, her home was near Gilbert Station, she had been in poor health for a long time, had gone to seek a place where she might gain her health, but proved unsuccessful. Her maiden name was Miss Abbie Liddle, and a daughter of John S. Liddle. Her remains were brought back to her home Saturday, and funeral services were held in Gilbert Station, Sunday at 2 o'clock p.m., conducted by Rev. Henderson of Nevada, after which she was laid to rest in the cemetery at that place. The funeral was largely attended by reletives and friends. She leaves a husband and many relatives to mourn her loss.
