Arthur J. Vielefeldt, 76, died in his home in Cedar Falls Saturday morning. Vielefeldt was a teacher at Milford township school and a school superintendant in Colo before leaving the area.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 9, in the Valley View Baptist Church of Cedar Falls.
Graveside services will be held in the Roland Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
Vielefeldt was born in Dedham, Iowa, to parents Sanford and Charity Veilefeldt.
He is survived by his wife, Marcyea, three children: Joann Wagner of Norman, Oklahoma, William Vielefeldt of Ames, and Jean Lee Nation of Columbia, Maryland; a sister, Julia of Des Moines and a brother, Cecil of Rolfe, Iowa. He had six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Vern.
