TRI COUNTY TIMES, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, May 1, 2008.

Marjorie Elizabeth Dahl, age 89, of Huxley passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2008, at the Madrid Home where she'd been residing the last two years.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 1, at Slater Baptist Church and officiated by Pr. Don Michaelson. Burial will be in Bethlehem Lutheran Church Cemetery in Slater.

Marjorie was born August 25, 1918, in Ames, Iowa. She married Stanley Dahl in Ames on October 12, 1947. They've lived in Huxley since 1952. Marjorie was a homemaker and member of the Slater Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Stanley of Huxley; two sons, Charlie and Roger Dahl of Huxley; one sister, Mary Jane Arends of Jewell; and two grandchildren, Joey and Andrea Dahl of Huxley. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Ida Stone; and one granddaughter, Stacie Dahl.

There was a time of visitation on Wednesday, April 30, at the Soderstrum-Riis Funeral Home in Slater. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Slater Baptist Church Missions Program.
