Laurel Lynn Kauble, 39, of Slater, died Wednesday, April 16, of a heart attack at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 21, at Palestine Lutheran Church, 1375 Highway 210, in Huxley. Burial will be in the Slater Municipal Cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 20, at the church.

Laurel Lynn Kauble was born Aug. 5, 1968, to Ron and Diana (Rainey) Anderson, and married Kenneth Kauble Oct. 22, 1994, in Des Moines. She was a graduate of North Polk High School and AIB. Laurel was a legal secretary with the Sporer and Flanagan Law Firm in Des Moines and part-time office manager of Miss Amy's School of Dance in Huxley. She loved reading and classic rock music.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Kenneth, of Slater; two daughters, Hannah and Jenna, of Slater; parents, Ron and Diana Anderson, of Polk City; one sister, Michelle (Michael) Bakken, of Polk City; and maternal grandmother Lavon Rainey, of Des Moines.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Laurel Kauble Memorial Fund, in care of Ballard Community Bank, P.O. Box 69, Huxley, Iowa 50124.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Soderstrum-Riis Funeral Home in Slater.
