THE ROLAND RECORD, Roland, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, May 9, 1895.

Died - Tuesday morning, at the home of his mother, north of town Thomas Opstvedt, aged ?0 years. Death was caused by a course of sickness, starting with diphtheria and ending with quick consumption. Burial services were held Tuesday afternoon, at the cemetery, by Rev. Smedal. The mother and other relatives receive the sympathy of the community.
