THE ROLAND RECORD, Roland, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, April 18, 1895.

Died - Sunday evening, a four months old child of Severt Osenes of Cambridge. Mr. Osenes and wife were visting in Roland and left Mrs. Opstevdts house with the baby apparently in good health but before they reached E. R. Sheldahl's house where they had started for, the child was dead. They returned immediately to the home of Mrs. Opstevdt. The burial took place Monday but no public services could be held as in the mean time diptheria had broken out in the Opstevdt home and it was placed in quarantine. The parents are tendered the sympathy of their host of freinds.
