THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, February 6, 2008.

Almira J. Holt, 88, of Story City, died Monday, Feb. 4, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Story City. Burial will be in Story City Municipal Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, at Soderstrum Funeral Home in Story City.

She is survived by one son, LeRoy (Mary) Holt, of Firestone, Colo.; two daughters, Elaine (Richard) Kolkmann, of Bloomington, Minn., and Janet (Norm) Trentmann, of Urbandale; one brother, Eugene Olson, of Jewell; one sister, Irene Billings, of Ames; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Homeward Hospice.
