William "Bill" VanMeter, 74, of Ames, Professor Emeritus Pharmacology at the College of Veterinary Medicine Iowa State University died Saturday, Jan. 26, at Israel Family Hospice House. A memorial gathering of family and friends is pending at Grandon Funeral and Cremation Care in Ames.
