Aaron Link, 28, of Ames, died Sunday, Jan. 20, at home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, at Adams Funeral Home. Burial will be in Garden City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, at Adams Funeral Home.

Aaron Link was born Sept. 17, 1979, in Ames, to Albert and Kathy (Schendel) Link. He had worked at Sauer-Danfoss.

He is survived by his mother, Kathy Link, of Ames; his father, Albert Link, of Ames; one son, Aaron Owen Link Jr., of Ames; one brother, Josh Link, of Ames; one sister, Bonnie Larrew, of Boone; two uncles, Philip (Barbara) Schendel, of Ames, and Patrick Schendel, of Chicago; two aunts, Sandra Pogwizd, of Cambridge, and Lynn McVicker, of Roanoake, Va.; and Owen's mother, Kelly Meierkord, of Ames.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Melvin and Huguette Schendel, and paternal grandparents, Marion Link and Doris Faber.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to be used at their discretion.
