Marian E. McKim, 90, of Nevada, died Thursday, Jan. 17, at Story County Long Term Care. Memorial services are pending with Chet Ryan Mortuary and Cremation Services in Nevada.

Marian E. (Hubbell) McKim, 90, of Nevada, died Thursday, Jan. 17, at Story County Long Term Care. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at First United Methodist Church in Nevada, with Pastor Steve Williams officiating. Private inurnment will be in Nevada Municipal Cemetery.

Marian E. (Hubbell) McKim was born Nov. 29, 1917, near Menahga, Minn., the daughter of Byron and Maude (Hilton) Hubbell. She graduated from high school in Plover in 1935, and she married Hal McKim April 8, 1936. Following their marriage, they moved to Nevada.

Those left to honor her memory are her four children, Janis (Doug) Diehl and Larry (Claudia) McKim, all of Nevada, Lois (Bob) Allen, of Pella, and Marge (Don) Morphet, of Groveland, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Don Hubbell, of Rockwell City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, on Jan. 13, 1983; and seven brothers.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, at Chet Ryan Mortuary, 708 Fifth St., in Nevada.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in honor of her to the Iowa Hospice, 2 W. Main St., Marshalltown, IA, 50158, or First United Methodist Church in Nevada.
