Lester "Les" Duncan, 71, of Pilot Mound, died Monday, Jan. 7, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. His body has been cremated. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of his life from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, at Pilot Mound United Methodist Church in Pilot Mound. A graveside service and interment of his cremains will be in Pilot Mound Cemetery in the spring.

Memorials may be given to the family to be used at its discretion.

Schroeder Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall in Boone is in charge of arrangements.
