Adelaide Shearer was born at Gilbert, February 10, 1893 and died at the hospital at Story City February 10, 1926. She was a graduate of Gilbert
Hight School. On March 6, 1911, she was united in marriage with Arthur Abrams. To this union, five children were born, one of whom preceded her in
death. Those surviving are Glen, Ruth, John and Isa May. She also leaves to mourn the loss, her devoted husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sanford
Shearer of Los Angeles, CA, six brothers and one sister, also a host of relatives and friends.
