Blair Johnson, age 50, of Ames died of a heart attack on Sunday, Aug. 22, 2004 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Services were held Wednesday, Aug. 25 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Ames, with Father Terry Rassmussen presiding. Burial was at Ames Municipal Cemetery in Ames.

Blair Johnson was born April 21, 1954 in Ames, the son of Mary Catherine (Gear) and Charles L. Johnson.

Survivors include his parents; brother Stacy Johnson of Boone; three sisters, Kim (Billy) Marples of Elk Horn, Iowa, Melinda (John) Howard and Melissa (Doug) McCormick of Ames; one nephew and three nieces.
