Pauline Dorothy Brisbin, 94 of Story City, formerly of Ames, died on Saturday, December 8 at Bethany Manor in Story City. Per Pauline's request, there will be no local services. Burial of the cre mains will be held in the Highland Park Cemetery in Pittsburg, KS.

Mrs. Brisbin was born on February 9, 1913 in Colo to Luke and Dorothea (Nelson) O'Donnell. She was raised in the Colo area and attended Brisbin school there. She attended the Catholic Church in Zearing, Iowa with her family. She also attended Business College in Marshalltown, Iowa. Pauline married William Mills Brisbin on August 31, 1945 in Dubuque, Iowa. Mr. Brisbin retired from his ad agency in Des Moines, Iowa in 1972 and they moved to Horseshoe Bend, AR. He passed away on May 18, 1984 in Horseshoe Bend. Pauline moved to Sedalia MO for 8 years and has resided in Ames since 2003. She was an avid golfer and Chicago Cubs fan. Pauline also enjoyed bowling and playing bridge.

Pauline is survived by her sister, Ann Buffington of Colo; a step-grandson, David Brisbin; a step-granddaughter, Barbara Van Dusen; 3 step-great grandchildren Caitlyn, Megan and Sean Mills Brisbin; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, Alice Boller and Irene Huhn, a brother F. P. O'Donnell, and her step-son Richard Brisbin.

Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada has been entrusted with Pauline's care.
