THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, December 4, 2007.

Erwin F. Burginger, 94, of Story City, died Monday, Dec. 3, at Bethany Manor in Story City. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at Bethany Manor Chapel in Story City. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at a later date at Story City Municipal Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Ora, of Story City; two daughters, Diane (Harold) Gerdes, of Fulda, Minn., and Lois (Clayton) Ludvigson, of Iowa City; one son, Dale Burginger, of Story City; one brother, Roman Burginger, of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Story City Senior Citizens Center.
