Loree Jo Larson, 40, of Story City, passed away Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church in Story City with burial to follow at Story City Municipal Cemetery.

Loree was born Feb. 17, 1965 to parents Louis and Joyce (Templer) Larson in Story City. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Story City. She graduated from South Hamilton High School in 1983 and was a self-employed graphic artist. She also enjoyed auto racing and computers.

Loree is survived by her husband, Chris Calvert of Story City; parents Louis and Joyce Larson of Story City; father-in-law, Robert (Margaret) Calvert of Charles City; her mother-in-law Marjorie (Dean) Moorman of Jefferson; uncles Bruce (Marvid) Templer of Beaufort, Missouri and Franklin Larson of Forest City; aunts Eleanor Sheldahl and Judy Larson, both of Forest City; brother-in-law Bill Calvert of Roland; first cousins Abby and Chapman, along with numerous other cousins.

Loree was preceded in death by her sister, Ann Larson and her grandparents.
