THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, July 18, 2007.

Raymond B. Sellers, 90, of Story City, died Sunday, July 15, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 tonight at Bacon Funeral Home and Crematory in Nevada. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 19, at First Christian Church in Nevada.

He was involved with agriculture prior to his employment at Iowa State. He was a very devoted servant of his church throughout his life.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie, and his ready-made family of three sons, two daughters, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one sister, Wilma Buschbom; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Betty; two brothers; and two sisters.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be given to Israel Family Hospice House, Nevada First Christian Church or Great Commission Ministries.

Bacon Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
