Nathan Allan Loftin, 24, of Ames, died Friday, July 13, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. A memorial ride will start at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at the Starlight on 13th Street in Ames.

Bacon Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Nathan Allan Loftin, 24, of Ames, died Friday, July 13, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. A memorial ride will start at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at the Starlight on 13th Street in Ames.

Nathan Allan Loftin was born April 19, 1983, in Iowa City, to Michael and Kathy (Gilligan) Loftin. He was employed as a carpenter for Wilkerson Construction.

He was a member of the Sons of Silence Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing and playing the guitar.

He is survived by his parents, of Ames; one brother, Kyle (Torey) Loftin, of Marysville, Wash.; one nephew, Kade Loftin; and many aunts and uncles.

Bacon Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
