Mary O. Meyers

Mary O. Meyers, 74, of Maxwell, died Thursday, Dec. 22, 1983, at the Sunnyview Care Center in Ankeny, where she had been a resident for the past two weeks.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24 at the Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell. The Rev. Mary Johnston will officiate. Burial will be at the Brethren Cemetery outside of Maxwell.

Mary Rutherford was born to Mr. and Mrs. David Rutherford on June 3, 1090 [1909], in England. She married Keith Meyers on February 19, 1955 in Missouri.

She is survived by her husband, Keith, of Maxwell; two daughters, Judy Owens of Runneals and Kay McCarty of Ankeny; one step daughter Diane Montgomery of Weyawa, Wisc.; one step son, Martin Meyers of Maxwell; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and two sisters, Sara Beadle of Post Falls, Idaho and Esther Waddell of Kirksville, Mo.

Visitation will begin at 10 a. m. Friday, Dec. 23, at the Cooper Funeral Home.
