Rena DeBoer, 100, of Aplington, died Friday, June 15, at Maple Manor Nursing Home in Aplington, from natural causes.

She is survived by two sons, Ronald (Maxine) DeBoer of Parkersburg, and Jerald (Ruth) DeBoer of Ames; one daughter, Sheryl Kono, of Aplington; one son-in-law, Daryl Becker, of Lucas; 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Henrietta Nevenhoven.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at the West Friesland Presbyterian Church with burial in West Friesland Cemetery both in rural Ackley.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at the Redman-Schwartz Funeral Chapel in Aplington, (319) 347-6275, and one hour before services at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family of Rena DeBoer.
