THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, June 30, 1921, page 1, column 5. “MRS. McLAIN FUNERAL SATURDAY – The body of the late Mrs. F. A. McLain, who died in Pasadena, Calif., May 15th, will arrive in Nevada, Friday night, accompanied by her husband and Mr. and Mrs. Clark McLain and family. The funeral services will be held from the home in Nevada, Saturday afternoon at 2:30 with burial in the Nevada cemetery.”
