LeAnn K. Delay, 53, of Tyrone, Okla., died Sunday, March 25, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kan., following a sudden illness. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at First Church of the Nazarene in Liberal, Kan., with Pastor Bruce Beatty officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

LeAnn K. Delay was born Oct. 7, 1953, in Jewell. She attended Liberal High school. She married Bob Delay May 16, 1970, in Liberal. She was a cook for the Tyrone School System for 10 years. She owned and operated the OOH'S and AAH'S Pet and Grooming since 1990 in Liberal. Her hobbies included quilting, sewing and crafts. Her most recent passion was riding her Harley-Davidson motorcycle with her husband, Bob.

She is survived by her husband, Bob, of Tyrone, Okla.; two daughters, Tausia Cornelson and husband, DeWayne, of Tyrone, Okla., and Stacia Long and husband Jeff, of Liberal, Kan.; one brother, Roger Toppenberg, of Ames; four grandchildren, Shayla and Triston Cornelson, and Kambrie and Kaiden Long; her mother-in-law, Darlene Delay, of Tyrone, Okla.; and many other relatives and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Zola Toppenberg, and sister-in-law, Sharon Toppenberg.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, and from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday, March 29, at the Miller Mortuary in Liberal, Kan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the LeAnn K. DeLay Memorial Fund, to assist with medical expenses for grandson Triston Cornelson, in care of First National Bank, Liberal, Kan., or to the mortuary.
