Marjorie Marie Birkestrand, 85, of Cambridge, died Friday, March 2, at Southfield Wellness Community in Webster City. A celebration of life service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 10, at Fjeldberg Lutheran Church in Huxley.

Marjorie Marie Birkestrand was born Nov. 8, 1921, to Albert and Doretta (Coffman) Sutton. She married David T. Birkestrand Feb. 4, 1946, in Des Moines, and resided with him on their farm in rural Cambridge.

She is survived by one son, Ron (Kathy) Birkestrand, of Webster City; four daughters, Joyce (Steven) Wright, of Nevada, Deborah Beech, of Lincolnton, N.C., Deann (Terry) Troutner, of Parkville, Mo., and Denise (David) Accola, of Cambridge; two sisters; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 9, at Fjeldberg Lutheran Church.
