Dennis K. Burgduff, 77, of Ames, died Friday, Feb. 23, at Mary Greeley Medical Center

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Des Moines.

Dennis was born Oct. 17, 1929, the son of William and Elsie (Johnson) Burgduff. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps, reaching rank of sergeant and serving two tours of duty during the Korean War.

Dennis was employed as a tool and dye worker and was a lifetime member of the American Legion.

He is survived by two sons, Dennis D. (Ginny) Burgduff, of Ames, and Charles M. (Sandra) Burgduff, of Kimberling City, Mo., a daughter, Denna (Dale) Fisher, of Pleasant Hill, a brother, William "Billy" Burgduff, of Creston, nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Adams Funeral Homes in Ames is in charge of arrangements.
