Anna Mae Wilson, 82 of Nevada died on Wednesday, January 16, 2007 at Story County Long Term Care in Nevada. Funeral services were held Friday, January 19 at the First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Tom Poppe officiating. Burial followed in the Evergreen Memory Gardens in rural Nevada.

Anna Mae was born on June 2, 1924 in Douglas, Wyoming to Albert and Gladys (Welsh) Casperson. On February 21, 1948, she married Charles N. Wilson in Unionville, Missouri. Anna Mae was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed sewing.

Anna Mae is survived by a step-daughter, Sue Ness of Ames; 2 grandchildren, Kurtis Ness of Ankeny and Shelly Amundson of Stafford, VA; 3 great grandchildren, Sarah and Katie Amundson and Stella Ness; 3 brothers, Clarence Airhart, Larry Airhart and Earl Airhart, all of Des Moines;
4 sisters, Shirley Broders of Grinnell, Elnora McBride of Marshalltown, Wanda Schmuck of London, Ohio, and Lois Tilley of Gilmer, Texas;
And several nieces and nephews.

Anna Mae was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles on October 8, 1990, 2 brothers, James Casperson in 1987 and Don Airhart in 1998, and 2 sisters Lena Alberta Allie in 2004 and Sandra K. Halderman.

Memorials may be given to the Kidney Foundation in Anna Mae's name.

Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada was entrusted with Anna Mae's arrangements.
