THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, January 23, 2007.

Clarice Berniece Bickelhaupt, 83, of Story City, died Sunday, Jan. 21, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Story City. Burial will be in Center Cemetery, rural Story City.

She married Virgil H. Bickelhaupt April 10, 1949, in Jewell. He died June 14, 1987.

She is survived by one daughter, Diane (Jeff) Sherman, of Urbandale; three sons, Dan Bickelhaupt, of Story City, Harold (Roxanne) Bickelhaupt, of Story City, and Jerry (Lynne) Bickelhaupt, of Huxley; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, with family present after 5 p.m., at Soderstrum Funeral Home in Story City.

Memorials may be given to Bethel Lutheran Church in Story City.
