George Wesley Hiner, age 57 of Monroe, Georgia died on January 3, 2007. He was born in Nevada, Iowa on April 26, 1949 to Geraldine Nelson Olson and the late Paul Leon Hiner. He was preceded in death by his son, the late Wesley Eric Hiner, and his brother, the late Jerry Hiner.

Surviving are: Wife: Rosemary Juanita Peterson Hiner of Monroe; Daughter and Son in Law: Lisa and Jerry Goodman of Monroe; Son: Blayne Hiner of Monroe; Mother: Geraldine Olson of Ames, Iowa; Sister: Sharon Brodie of Arnold, Missouri; Brothers: Steve Hiner of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Bob Hiner of Eugene, Oregon, and David Hiner of San Diego, California; Grandchildren: Jerry B. Goodman, Elijah "Doogie" Goodman, Shelby Westbrook, Bradley Simmons, Destiny Simmons, Tia Hampton, and Mary Engell; and Several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services were held on Saturday January 6th at 2:00 P.M. at Cornerstone Fellowship Church with the Rev. Roger Bailey officiating. Interment followed at Westlawn Cemetery.

Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
