Steve Edward Lee, 51, of Huxley, died Nov. 24 at his home.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, at Fjeldberg Lutheran Church with Rev. Tom Hilger. Burial of cremated remains will be in Fjeldberg Cemetery.

Lee was born in Ames on May 2, 1955, to Leonard and Idalice (Dobbe) Lee. He was a 1974 graduate of Ballard High School and attended Boys State while in high school. Steve has worked at Sundstrand and, for the last 23 years, at ISU as a machinist. He married Peggy Hall on May 11, 1994. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, enjoyed cooking, fishing, woodworking and was an ISU fan.

Lee is survived by his wife, Peggy Lee, of Huxley; his mother, Idalice Lee, of Huxley; four children, Linette Lee, of Boston, Mass, Mitchell (Stephanie) Lee, of Ankeny, Amy Mullica, of Ames, and Scott (Ashley) Mullica, of Roseville, Calif.; three brothers, Dennis (Joan) Lee, of Loveland, Colo., Charles (Kathy) Lee, of Huxley, and Robert Lee, of Denver, Colo.; and two grandchildren, Justin and Keirlyn Mullica

Lee was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 27, at Fjeldberg Lutheran Church.

Soderstrum-Riis Funeral Home of Slater is handling the arrangements.
