THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, November 21, 2006.

Twyla Marie Watson, 87, of Story City, died Monday, Nov. 20, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 24, at Bethany Manor Chapel in Story City.

She is survived by three daughters, Katherine (Jerry) Sowers, of Story City, Karen (Dick) Doubleday, of Stuart, and Barbara (David) Fremming, of Ankeny; one son, Ronald (Terri) Watson, of Plano, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, H. Ellwood Watson; one sister, Vera Lee Moore; and one brother, James Robertson.

The family will receive friends an hour before the service.

Memorials may be made to Bethany Life Communities or Israel Family Hospice House.

Soderstrum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
