Orie R Mason, 59, of 1803 Duff, died Thursday at 4:25 pm in the Mary Greeley hospital where he had been a patient for a week. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 10:30 am in the Duckworth funeral home and burial will be in a Jefferson, Iowa cemetery. Rev. Robert Pinnell, pastor of the First Methodist Church will officiate. Mr. Mason, who had lived in Ames most of his life, was born July 2, 1890 at Jefferson. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge at Moline, Illinois. Survivors include three sons, Donald and Robert Mason, both of Moline, and Russell of Dallas, Texas; three sisters, Mrs Merttie Kooser of Ames, Mrs Sylvia Schumley of Des Moines and Mrs Mary Gable of Boone, and a brother, Oscar D Mason of Ames.
